My road to becoming a Web Developer.

Every road must start somewhere and my road did not start today, rather it started 2 years ago. Sitting in my house, I thought to myself what do I want to become and do for a living that:

1. I would enjoy doing

2. A job that is stable and well-paying

3. And most importantly, one that has a very good work/life balance

You see, I grew up seeing my dad work very long hours in a grueling job where we only saw him on the weekends and I made a vow that I would never do that type of job and that I will one day make him proud.

For these reasons, the web-development path stood out to me and I decided that I would pursue this lucrative career. I'm currently on my way to learning React after learning a good portion of Javascript, CSS, and HTML and it's been challenging yet fun. My goal is to become a web developer this upcoming year so I decided to document my journey which I hopefully can look back at in the near future and say, "Man, I've come a long way".
